Foundation Year
The Beginning of a Vision
Smart Academy officially opened its doors with 80 students, marking the first milestone in rural educational transformation in Ramganj, Lakshmipur.
Year of Growth
Building Momentum
Enrollment nearly doubled to 150 students. The first two students completed the Hifz program, validating our integrated Islamic education approach.
Expansion Phase
Reaching New Heights
Major infrastructure expansion with new science laboratories and smart classrooms. Student enrollment reached 300. Won first district science fair championship.
Consolidation & Recognition
Excellence Acknowledged
Enrollment reached 350 students. Received multiple awards including Best Educational Institution. Launched community service programs.
Maturity & Excellence
Setting the Standard
450 students enrolled. First SSC batch achieved 100% pass rate with 60% GPA-5. National recognition achieved. International media feature.

The story of Smart Academy begins with the Smart Foundation, a visionary non-profit organization established in 2018 with a clear mandate: to transform rural Bangladesh through quality education.
The founders recognized a critical gap in rural education - the absence of institutions that could provide both strong Islamic foundations and modern academic excellence. While urban areas had access to quality schools, rural students were often forced to choose between religious education and modern subjects.
After two years of careful planning, community engagement, and infrastructure development, Smart Academy opened its doors in January 2020. The founding team faced significant challenges: securing land, building facilities, recruiting qualified teachers, and convincing parents that a new model of education could succeed.
The breakthrough came when the first batch of students showed remarkable progress in both Quranic memorization and academic subjects. Word spread quickly through the community, and enrollment grew steadily.
Today, Smart Academy stands as proof that excellence in education is possible anywhere when vision, dedication, and community support come together.
